Morning Routine: Opening the Shop
As a budtender at SweetLeaves, my day begins bright and early. I arrive at our cannabis dispensary in Minneapolis at 8:30 AM, ready to prepare for the day ahead. First things first, I check our inventory system to ensure we’re well-stocked on all our products, from flower to edibles.
Mid-Morning: Customer Service
Once we open at 9 AM, the day really kicks into gear. Our marijuana store sees a steady stream of customers, each with unique needs and preferences. Some highlights of my morning include:
- Helping a first-time customer navigate our selection of indica strains
- Advising a regular on new edible options for pain management
- Answering questions about our online dispensary services for those in St. Paul and Edina
Afternoon: Inventory and Education
After lunch, I spend some time organizing our display cases and restocking shelves. SweetLeaves prides itself on being more than just a weed shop – we’re an educational resource for our community. I take time to review new product information and industry news to ensure I can provide the most up-to-date advice to our customers.
Evening: Closing Time
As we approach closing time, I assist last-minute shoppers from Minnetonka and St. Louis Park. Once the doors are locked, it’s time for end-of-day inventory counts and cleaning. Before heading home, I make sure our online orders are prepped for tomorrow’s pickups in Richfield.
Working at SweetLeaves is more than just a job – it’s an opportunity to make a positive impact on people’s lives through the power of cannabis. Every day brings new challenges and rewards, and I’m grateful to be part of this growing industry.
